According to Seth Godin, "serving" is the new leadership model - and that's what his new book, Tribes is all about!
He says, "A tribe is any group of people, large or small, who are connected to one another by a leader or an idea. It's our nature to join. The Internet has eliminated the barriers of geography, cost and time. Blogs and social networks are helping tribes get bigger and enabling new tribes to be born."
The big question is "Who is going to lead all of these tribes?"
I have read the book twice - once with the mindset of leading a tribe (MortgageGirlfriends.com) and the second time with the mindset of how could a loan originator become a leader of a tribe.
