7 Steps to Buying New Construction - Client Flyer

How to Get Your Foot in the New Construction Door.

Written By: Karen Deis

Is new construction still going strong in your area of the country?

Or, do the builders and real estate companies need to move spec homes (or model homes) that have been sitting on the market for some time?

Regardless of which side of the new construction seesaw your market is in, here’s a client flyer called: 7 Steps for Buying Your New Construction Home.

It’s created for past clients and real estate agents. Be very selective about sending to builders, because it’s designed to sell against builders who have their own mortgage companies.

Keep a supply on hand and give to (or send to) prospects that may be considering building a new home. Mail to your past client database. It’s designed to get your clients thinking about building a new home (or buying a spec).

However, if you are a loan officer whose niche market IS working with builders/new construction, we recommend that BEFORE you mail to every single past client in your database, think about how this flyer might negatively affect your builder business.

Why? Because the flyer explains:

  • Why work with an agent who specializes in new construction?
  • How to review contract details and spec sheets before you sign.
  • Should you get a home inspection?
  • Don't agree to use the builder's lender.
  • Why you need to get references before you build.
  • What's different about new construction appraisals?
  • Why you need to check out the local government's plans.

Give to real estate agents who specialize in new homes.

Provide on your website as a free report!

Subscribers can download the flyer and add pictures and personal contact information!
