Ralph Roberts is known as the "Michael Jordan of Real Estate", selling an average of 450 homes per year. At a recent Tag Team Tactics seminar, he shared a Crumpled Letter System he has used for years to solicit expired listings.
The concept of the crumpled letter is that a letter is written to a client whose listing has expired. In the letter, Ralph says that he knows that their listing has expired with ABC Realty and he would like a chance to make a presentation and re-list their home.
Within a few days, a crumpled letter (see picture) arrives with the same request, but it includes a handwritten note at the bottom of the letter that says, "Don't Throw Me Away Again".
