Listing your company name and contact information or even a small display ad, can cost you hundreds of dollars per month. Instead of spending thousands of $'s every year, send a post card saying that you did not make the deadline to advertise in the yellow pages, and ask them to insert your postcard information into the "mortgage section" of their yellow pages. (Now, you are not lying because you DIDN'T submit an ad in the first place, right?)
It's likely that your company may have a listing in the yellow pages - but as an individual loan originator, this is a way to get them to call you directly instead of calling the company's central phone bank and just asking for any old loan officer.
