3 Reasons to Refinance - Regardless of Interest Rates

Low interest rates aren't the only reason to refinance your mortgage!

One of the main reasons my clients refinance is to increase their monthly cash flow - by using their mortgage as a financial planning tool. If your finances fall into any of these categories, maybe you should take a look at refinancing right now - while rates are still relatively low!

Reason #1 - Increased Credit Card Payments

Credit card companies have been forced (because of a recent law) to double the minimum monthly payment from 2 percent to 4 percent. Which means that if you have a credit card balance of $7,000 and a payment of $140 per month, it has increased to $280. Your monthly cash flow is decreased by $140 per month. While refinancing just one credit card does not make sense, if you have a couple of credit cards, it just might help increase the dollars you have to spend each month.
