Even the Most Technologically-Challenged Person Can Do This.

You have just GOT to see the latest in streaming video messaging - and believe me, it's easier than ever.
O.K. I'll admit to being a technology junkie and have even considered going thru the 12-step program for technology addiction, but this is so easy, that everyone can use immediately upon signing up.
I know what you are thinking - how much is this going to cost me? A camera and microphone for your computer will run you about $95 for both.
Your next step is to take a test drive at www.InstantVideoGenerator.com. If you can "cut and paste", you can work with the program. Log on to the website for a free demo. Learn how to set it up and the different features it offers.
Video Post Cards
Video Email
Video for your Website
When you record your video and cut and paste into any one of the above 3 features, you also have the option of the video playing instantly or manually. The manual feature includes play and stop buttons operated by the viewer (as shown on the above example).
They have thought of everything. Depending upon your Internet connection - and the Internet connection of the person you are sending it to, there are 4 Internet speeds you can choose from - including dial-up speed.
Did I say they thought of everything? A teleprompter is an additional feature where you can type in exactly what you want to say and read while you are recording.
Here are some of the ways you can use the video messages in your mortgage business:
Video Email your past clients with information on interest rates and if they have a 1st and 2nd mortgage, they may want to consider combining them now.
Video Email a new mortgage program to your affinity partners with information on how it can help their clients (like the Interest-Only Option ARMs).
Video Email prospects that you have talked to over the phone but have not yet met face-to-face. It's one of the ways to build rapport before they meet with you.
Video Email to clients on the status of the loan applications, appraisal receipt or closing instructions. You don't have to do it yourself - but could be recorded by your assistant so they get to know your staff too.
Include a video on your website introducing yourself, information about your company and the benefits of doing business with you versus your competitors.
Website Video updated weekly on what's happening in the financial markets this week. It's a way to direct prospects, clients and real estate agents to your website and you become known as the expert in your area.
Create a series of video webcasts for the different pages on your website.
Create niche-market videos for your first-time home buyers; 2nd home buyers; investment properties - and record a video on the specific needs for each niche.
Here are a couple of things I found out when "playing" with the webcasting technology.
Slow down when talking. If you speak too fast, the video cannot keep up with you and you will find that your lips won't move at the same time as your words are spoken.
Your camera shows the background of your office - so if you don't want something shown on camera or people are walking around, it will be distracting for the viewer.
Check the lighting. I wear glasses. The light reflected off my glasses and was distracting in the video.
The maximum recording time is 10 minutes. If you download a video from another source (i.e. a clip from a DVD), you have 30 minutes of streaming vide.
