You spend hours preparing a newsletter. You spend money to have it typeset and printed. But it doesn't make any difference how wonderful and great your newsletter is unless you get it distributed to people who have the potential to do business with you or have the potential to refer business to you.
When you write your articles, write them in such a way as to generate telephone calls. That's why it is important that you develop your mailing lists first - even before you write that first word.
In addition to sending information to potential clients, current customers or past customers, I would like to give you some ideas about who you might want to include on your mailing lists - and the reasons why you might consider doing so.
Attorneys, Accountants and Financial Planners - You might write an article about the latest refinance rates and reasons why people need to refinance so they might pass this information on to their clients.
Architect - If you offer construction loans or long term interest rate lock-ins, you may want to provide that information.
