Asking good questions is an art form. Salespeople usually do all the talking and seldom ask questions, so we've developed a list of the 37 most powerful questions guerrillas can ask. These questions will automatically take a prospect all the way through the buying process. I suggest that each question should be memorized until the salespeople can recall them on demand - "What's question number 10?".
These questions really work magic. We've italicized the magic words in each question with an explanation of the strategy behind each one.
- What is your main objective? When you understand what your customer is trying to achieve, you can align your proposal with their intent.
- How do you plan to achieve that goal? You may already fit into their plan and not even know it. If you're part of their plan, your customer will close themselves.
- What is the biggest problem you currently face? If you can help them solve their biggest problem, you will be a big hero.
