In our last issue, Brian Farrish wrote an article about the marketing opportunity that exists through radio interviews. In this issue, we will review the different types of radio stations, the demographics of their listeners, and which ones to focus on for the best chances for success. Even if all you want to do is place advertising on the radio, this will you some idea of what mortgage programs you should be marketing and on which stations.
Many advertising mistakes have been made by delivering the wrong message to the wrong audience via the RADIO. Just because you listen to a particular radio station during "drive time" doesn’t mean that the target audience you wish impact would even listen to your message—Your message may not apply to them.
